Family Homestay

Our host network represents the diversity of Capital citizens and includes different kind of hosts to best suit your needs.  Some of our families can accommodate up to 3 students, which can make your stay often more pleasant, convivial and fun.  Many of the families have a considerable experience in hosting students throughout the year. The families recruited come from an excellent social and cultural background.  They are mostly empty-nesters, though some may still have older teenagers or young adults still living at home.

The Paris region hosts France highest concentration of Universities with 55 specialised centres of higher education outside the public university structure. There are a high number of engineering schools, led by the Paris Institute of Technology which comprises several colleges such as Ecole Polytechnique, Ecole des Mines, AgroParisTech, Telecom Paris, Arts et Metiers, and Ecole des Ponts et Chaussees. There are also many business schools, including HEC, INSEAD, ESSEC, and ESCP Europe.

Familystay in Lyon

Lyon as such is France s third largest city after Paris and Marseille, but together with its suburbs and satellite towns Lyon forms the 2nd-largest metropolitan area in France.

The city is known for its historical and architectural landmarks and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lyon was historically known as an important area for the production and weaving of silk and in modern times has developed a reputation as the capital of gastronomy in France and in the world.

Staying in Toulouse

Toulouse has the fourth-largest student population in France after Paris, Lyon and Lille with 103,000 students.The University of Toulouse , established in 1229, is located here (now split into three separate universities). Like the universities in Oxford and Paris, the University of Toulouse was established at a time when Europeans were starting to translate the writings of Arabs of Andalus and Greek philosophers. These writings challenged European ideology inspiring scientific discoveries and advances in the arts as society began seeing itself in a new way. These colleges were supported by the Church, in hopes of reconciling Greek philosophy and Christian theology.
